An implant is an artificial tooth root that is placed in your jawbone to secure a replacement tooth, bridge, or denture. Dental implants feel natural and don’t affect surrounding teeth.
The treatment itself is essentially painless. However, in the days following treatment, you may experience some slight discomfort. After about a week, your implant shouldn’t feel uncomfortable.
You will be provided with a specific set of instructions following your treatment. Please stick to them closely to ensure the risk of complications is reduced. A brief list of things you can expect includes: resting, managing swelling, cleaning your oral area, restricting your diet, and monitoring the area to make sure nothing out of the ordinary is happening.
The majority of our treatments are covered by a large number of insurance companies. For a more comprehensive description of coverage, please call your service provider.
Dr. Raj is an amazing dentist! He is friendly, knowledgable, and very good at what he does. I have had many dentists in the past, and I can honestly say he is by far the best. He did an excellent job on my fillings, and I referred my entire family to him, all of whom were equally impressed by his thoroughness and his quality of work. I would recommend him to anybody!
